It’s always exciting to discover new brands and designers that tickle our fancy and so I can say that I am just thrilled to the bones to introduce all you fashion globetrotters out there to a hot new brand called Glasnost by one of Manila’s most stylish ladies—Stacy Rodriguez.

Stacy puts kin and function all in one strong equation with her first collection inspired by the shapes and dimensions of mathematics. Math not exactly your favorite subject? Don’t you worry Stacy Rodriguez has all the solutions you could ever need.

Not a lot of people are interested in the design process of fashion as much as they are into the finished product When did you realize that you wanted to be more involved in the art of design?

I can’t say that there was a succinct tuming point It probably has a lot to do with grong up surrounded by creativity. My entire family is very creatively inclined. However. I think I probably learned to appreciate the design process from my brother, Junie, who is a decorator. just by observing his process, I learned that every step counts and should be appreciated. But to be completely honest. I am still learning as I go. Especially because everything is self-taught So, I guess it all really started from the idea of wanting to create things and the design process, came naturally. Perhaps this is why I chose to attend entrepreneurship school first—to put structure behind the process. I’ve always believed that real-life experience  is thebest education you can get and always trying to search for improvements, I still dream of taking further studies in Fashion one day.
