Now asked to take Viagra in place of Levitra

by admin in health, medicine | Posted on February 3rd, 2010 | No Comments

I used to Buy Levitra for my erectile dysfunction but now I had to stop its use for me as I now started manifesting signs and symptoms that I am developing unwanted side effects which can be bad for me in the long run like orange tinged vision and even the medication itself is not anymore that effective as I noticed it takes a long time for the medications to take effect, in fact a good one and a half hour before it works to give me an erection unlike before it only takes as short as 30 minutes. I consulted this with my doctor who decided it was time to change medications and see if they will also work for me so he asked me this time to Buy Viagra at the next order I will have and hopefully this will just be just as good in its effect as Levitra has once sometime ago. But you see I actually believe in Viagra as I happen to know this is the primary medication prescribed for erectile dysfunction and this is also the drug even my elder brother used to take and he is all thumbs up for it. And I also have an advantage in a way since I happen to know a great site where they sell these Viagra and all other erectile dysfunction medications for a great price, and that is www.pharmashack.com, my trusted and reliable online drug store.

There has been a growing trend for more people to go on foreign travel over the last few decades. And when they travel, you can be sure that this tourists are never without their cameras, With some helpful tips from Canon on travel photography and camera maintenance, here’s how to become a great, or at least a competent. photographer and make me most out of your travel memories.

I. When you’re out to explore new holiday destinations always remember to pack extra memory cards and extra battery. You don’t want to be in the middle of a spontaneous shot only to have your battery or memory run out on you. You can prolong your battery pack by covering your camera with a towel,

2. To make the most out of your trip, do a little research on the place or places you’re planning to go to. Note the sites and historic spots to visit the culture of the people, the food, the architecture, and good vantage point for taking photos It’s always interesting to photograph faces and local life, spontaneous actions or events.

3. Part of the thrill of being in a place for the first time is not knowing what you’ll see or encounter. Thus taking photos becomes a knee-jerk reaction to what’s there often resulting in randomly shot photos that give viewers no clue what the pictures are about

Before clicldng away, determine what it is that you want to focus on—what’s your subject what are you trying to capture? A good photograph should reveal a single subject or idea, with as few extraneous elements as possible.

4. If you’re going to the beach avoid using your camera at the beach line, as the salty air may trigger corrosion. Never expose your camera to direct sunlight. Canon suggests encasing it in a zip lock bag cutting out a hole for the lens and fixing the cover with masking tape. Another option, budget-allowing is to buy a camera with an all-weather case or sports pack

5. In high-contrast conditions, like at high noon, your flash may not go off, which may result in photos of faces in darla-iess. To avoid this, set your camera to P (program) or M (manual). You may also select other semi-manual modes and switch on your flash. If you’re planning long-exposure shots, you might consider bringing a tripod—a light one would be handy for traveling.

Spending on equipment

WASHINGTON—United States businesses are finally willing to spend more money on equipment, a healthy sign for the economic recovery. For the first time in nearly two years, companies put up more money for a category called equipment and software” in the third quarter of the year. It isn’t a huge growth rate—ust 1.1 percent according to the government’s report last week on US economic growth.

Still, equipment and software are a broad and important category of items made by such companies as Deere & Co., EMC Corp. and General Electric Co. It includes computers, software, medical equipment, industrial engines, autos, planes, furniture and farm machinery.

Business spending is especially crucial now because consumers, who normally drive a recovery, are&t doing so this lime. Many shoppers are too squeezed by job losses, flat wages, tight credit and high debt.

The higher spending doesn’t necessarily mean companies are swimming in cash. Some businesses managed to save enough during the recession to spend more now, analysts said. Others can’t get loans to expand their plants and instead must upgrade the equipment they have, analysts said. When businesses spend more on equipment, jobs can eventually be created at companies that make the machines and the parts that go into them.

Some makers of technology- related equipment see better business conditions. At EMC, which sells data storage machines and software, chief executive Joe Tucci said he was starting to see customers become more comfortable with ramping up spending on information technology.
EMC said it expected a “slow but steady recovery.”

For now, though, most businesses are reluctant to hire. To meet any pickup in demand, they’re relying instead on workers they already have.
The economy isn’t likely to create many jobs until a broad-based recovery] has taken hold.

Edward Yardeni, president and chief investment strategist at Yardeni Research, predicts businesses will boost their spending on capital equipment at around a 10 percent annualized rate in the current October-to-December quarter. And he thinks it will continue rising after that as businesses’ revenue and profits improve.

For now, companies will probably focus spending on computers, software and other technology that can boost the productivity of their existing workers, he said.

The need to frequently upgrade their technology gives many businesses another reason to spend, Yardeni said. The government report on GDP—the value of all goods and services produced in the United States—showed

Freedom you wear

It’s always exciting to discover new brands and designers that tickle our fancy and so I can say that I am just thrilled to the bones to introduce all you fashion globetrotters out there to a hot new brand called Glasnost by one of Manila’s most stylish ladies—Stacy Rodriguez.

Stacy puts kin and function all in one strong equation with her first collection inspired by the shapes and dimensions of mathematics. Math not exactly your favorite subject? Don’t you worry Stacy Rodriguez has all the solutions you could ever need.

Not a lot of people are interested in the design process of fashion as much as they are into the finished product When did you realize that you wanted to be more involved in the art of design?

I can’t say that there was a succinct tuming point It probably has a lot to do with grong up surrounded by creativity. My entire family is very creatively inclined. However. I think I probably learned to appreciate the design process from my brother, Junie, who is a decorator. just by observing his process, I learned that every step counts and should be appreciated. But to be completely honest. I am still learning as I go. Especially because everything is self-taught So, I guess it all really started from the idea of wanting to create things and the design process, came naturally. Perhaps this is why I chose to attend entrepreneurship school first—to put structure behind the process. I’ve always believed that real-life experience  is thebest education you can get and always trying to search for improvements, I still dream of taking further studies in Fashion one day.

Unwanted weight loss in cancer patients addressed

by admin in health, nutrition | Posted on August 27th, 2009 | No Comments

One of the most immediate and noticeable side affects of having cancer is unwanted weight loss. Recent studies have revealed that a vast majority (about 80 percent) of cancer patients experience this during their bout with the illness. Moreover, the usual battery of treatments administered to combat the disease can consequently add to a patient’s further weight reduction. The changes in taste or smell, vomiting or nausea, lactose intolerance, fatigue or depression, are some reasons that cause this alarming drop in body mass.

Based on international studies, weight loss and poor nutritional intake accounted for 50 percent of the negative influence on the quality of life function scores among patients with cancer. Due to this pressing need to further educate those who suffer from cancer and those who care for them, Abbott Nutrition International and the Philippine Society of Oncologists renewed their partnership to address proper nutrition among cancer patients. Through their joint efforts, they hope to assist many of those at risk of cancer-induced weight loss with effective consultation and corrective nutrition intervention.

PSO president Dr. Luzviminda Kwong enthused, “We are happy to be working with Abbott and their Prosure team again in giving the best products and healthcare services for our patients.”

ANI sales director Eddie Reyes concurs, “This partnership with PSO firmly inculcates Abbott’s continuing commitment to providing quality products that are firmly backed by science, and are highly recommended by our well-respected health care practitioners.”

Prosure is the only clinically- proven product specially designed to fight cancer-induced weight loss. With its Licosa Pentaenoic Acid formulation, a key ingredient in nutrition oncology, it helps stabilize weight by suppressing harmful metabolic changes induced by cancer. These can be found in fish oil (sardine, salmon, menhaden, mackerel, and herring) but a patient will have to consume a huge amount to get at 2g of EPA per day.

The high levels of protein and EPA (1.1g/serving) combined with high calorie, and low levels of fat in Prosure helps preserve lean body mass and promote weight gain in three weeks with just two glasses per day. Thus improving the overall quality of life of cancer patients.
